December 1983. Under a clear winter sky, portraits of victims of racist crimes in France are brandished by the thousands in the streets of the capital. At the start of the March for equality and against racism, a handful of young people from the city of Minguettes, determined to cross France on foot, from Marseille to Paris. When they arrive, more than 100,000 people will have joined their ranks, expressing with one voice their anger and their desire to put an end to the country’s rampant racism.
Documentary director and co-founder of the production company Citizen Films, Nina ROBERT has been defending and carrying out eclectic and committed projects for 12 years. She notably directed: CLEARSTREAM ET MOi (2020), SUGAR (2021) and THE MAUREEN KEARNEY AFFAIR (2022).
