Since October 7, 2023, the international press has been barred from entering the Gaza Strip. On the ground, reporters from the AFP bureau in Gaza continue to cover the news, braving rocket fire to ensure their own survival and that of their loved ones.
Hélène Lam Trong is a French documentary filmmaker and journalist. After beginning her career at Radio France, she dedicated herself to making documentaries exploring the consequences of conflict and personal trauma. She received the 2023 Albert Londres Prize for her film “The Ghost Children of ISIS.”
