The director proposes a road trip to Christine, his best friend: a journey across the south of France in search of a farewell letter her father supposedly left behind. This provides an opportunity to reflect on her mother’s tyrannical behavior. But nothing goes as planned.
After studying film, Jean Boiron Lajous directed the documentary La Mémoire et la Mer (2012), produced by Aix-Marseille University in partnership with the INA (National Audiovisual Institute). He subsequently collaborated with the production company Prima Luce, with whom he directed several films. Concurrently, from 2012 to 2018, he coordinated the Première Fois festival in Marseille.
