Alejandro Egido returns to his paternal family’s village, a place in the Castilian Meseta where, for years, he has only gone to bury relatives. He spends a few days there with Carmen and Tomasa, his grandfather’s sisters, who share a daily life marked by routine and absence.
Born in Barcelona in 1997, Alejandro Egido studied advertising while teaching himself filmmaking. In 2021, he founded his own studio with photographer Blanca Munt, where they develop both commercial and personal projects related to photography and film. He is currently working on the screenplay for his first feature film.
