A family taboo, a lost story. Through 25 photographs, a nephew reconstructs the life of Michele, an uncle who succumbed to AIDS and heroin in Italy during the 1980s and 90s. Guided by his mother’s warm memories and the cold gaze of AI, he reflects on memory, the value of images, and what remains.
Born in 1998, Paolo Baiguera is a director who has worked on various productions with companies such as Sky, Rai, and Indigo Film. His first short film, EL PÜTI PÈRS (The Lost Child), premiered at the Venice International Critics’ Week in 2025, where it received a special mention.
