Our documentary tells the story of three young rappers who became the target of the Spanish state’s persecution of freedom of expression in music.
Clàudia ARRIBAS is a sociologist, screenwriter and director. She begins to experiment with cinema as a means of research on social issues and as a prism to observe and question reality. After a Masters in Documentary at the ECIB, she wrote and directed New Old Times, her first short documentary film selected in international festivals. She is currently part of the BRUNA Film Studio, where she brings a sociological and analytical perspective to documentary projects. She is directing her first feature film We Won’t Shut Up, which was presented in October 2022 at the InÈdit Festival in Barcelona, which she is co-directing with two other members of BRUNA.
Violeta OCTAVIO is a cinematographer and filmmaker. He specialized Camera operator for fiction films and documentaries. Her first feature film We Won’t Shut Up was presented in October 2022 at the In-Èdit festival in Barcelona. She is co-directing it with two other members of the BRUNA Production Company.
Carlos JUAN is a director and editor. He specialized in the field of the camera after obtaining a master’s degree in the direction of photography. He is a founding partner of BRUNA. He is directing his first feature film We Won’t Shut Up, which will premiere in October 2022 at the In-Èdit Festival in Barcelona and which he is co-directing with two other members of BRUNA.
