Since 2018, the Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA), organizer of PriMed, has extended its actions towards young people in the Mediterranean by traveling to various countries to collect their words and present documentaries to them. The objective of these actions is to support them in their reflection on the themes covered, to listen to them give their visions on the world around them, and their ideas for changing societies. These are the Mediterranean citizens of tomorrow to whom we wish to give a voice.

STOPOVER IN EGYPT (October 16-22, 2023) The PriMed Mediterranean Youth Prize stops in Egypt in partnership with the Francophone Activities Center (CAF) of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina The Mediterranean Youth Prize travels to Egypt in six cities: Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Ismailia, Luxor and Mansourah, where nearly 800 young people meet to reflect on their belonging to the Mediterranean world. French-speaking Egyptian high school students from these cities will watch three documentaries, debate, write their comments and vote for their film favorite. To help them learn to develop their critical sense, and to formulate their ideas, they will be accompanied by Marwa El Sahn, Director of the Francophone Activities Center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Valérie Gerbault, General Delegate of the CMCA.
STOPOVER IN ITALY (13th November 2023)
The Mediterranean Youth Prize stopped in Rome in partnership with RAI.
At the initiative of the RAI and the CMCA, the PriMed Mediterranean Young People’s Award made a stopover in Rome and enabled a very exciting exchange to take place between the Roman high school students and the directors present. Thanks to Sajid Khan Nasiri (The Mind game), Ariane CHEMIN (Life before us) and Valérie MRÉJEN (You the Adolescents) for their availability to exchange with the students. Thank you to the entire Rai International Relations team for organizing this event.
