Shot over ten years in Romania, this film tells the story of Alice, an unloved young girl trapped in her life as a mother. At 16, she falls in love with Dorian, 35 years her senior. She marries him and gives birth to a little boy, Aristo. Far from finding happiness, memories of her own neglected childhood resurface.
After studying filmmaking and journalism, Isabela TENT first worked as an assistant director on Romanian and international productions, collaborating with renowned filmmakers such as Radu Jude and Tudor Giurgiu. Driven by an interest in documentary storytelling, she directed her first feature film, Alice Here and There, shot over a period of ten years.
