In Marseille, an archipelago city, the street is disappearing behind walls and gates, dividing the city into a confetti of gated communities. Yet, Don Quixote and his pizza-delivering squire convince themselves they are castles in Spain. Together, they traverse these places and confront the compartmentalization of society.
After studying literature and philosophy, Gaspard HIRSCHI pursued artistic training at Le Fresnoy, National Studio of Contemporary Arts. He subsequently worked as a technician on various films, as an assistant director, colorist, and even location manager, and directed his first films.
