54 minutes, 2021 Director : Sarah CLAUX (France) Production : Flair Production (France)

In Lebanon, since 2019, millions of demonstrators have denounced a corrupt political class, responsible for an unprecedented economic crisis. Throughout the territory, the Lebanese demonstrate without distinction of religion or community. “One, one, one! The Lebanese people are one! “. For a year, from the very first evening of the revolution until the takeover of the ministries after the explosion of the port of Beirut, this unprecedented surge of revolt, from Beirut to Baalbek via Tripoli, was filmed, following the destiny of revolutionaries whom everything opposes, but whom the revolution will bring together.

Sarah CLAUX has been a journalist and director for ten years. After a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Journalism at the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme and a DU in Geopolitics at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales, she worked internationally (Bolivia, East Timor, Morocco, Mozambique, England) for small local media, start-ups or international media, in radio, print media, then in documentaries where she found her way. In 2018, she directed her first film, Graffiti men Beirut, screened at numerous festivals and in cinemas. Then she created her collective, Niksa production. She now lives between Lebanon and Paris, where she writes and directs several projects, always trying to bring a different and hopeful perspective to the socio-economic issues that surround her.
