(The life before us) 54 minutes, 2022 Director : Frédéric LAFFONT (France) production : Bellota Films (France), Camera Magica (France)
In the 1960s and 1970s, Félix Mora crisscrossed southern Morocco in search of muscles at low cost to close the mines of France. The criers of the Kingdom announce his arrival to cohorts of candidates for exile. Green stamp affixed to naked torsos: France, red stamp: the village and shame. In this wav Mora would have recruited more than 80,000 minors for the North of France and Lorraine region.
Documentary maker, great reporter, author-director of documentary films, Frédéric LAFFONT has won numerous distinctions for his work, including the prestigious Albert Londres Award in 1987 for La Guerre des nerfs (Lebanon).
