Letizia Battaglia has photographed the crimes of the Sicilian mafia for over twenty years. Her life has been a lifelong commitment, denouncing corruption and making visible those left behind. In Italy during the Years of Lead, gripped by terror, her images reveal what the stifling omerta seeks to bury.
Born in Rome in 1976, Cécile ALLEGRA works as a documentary filmmaker and reporter around the world. Her films have won awards at numerous festivals. Co-directed with Delphine Deloget, Voyage en Barbarie won the Albert Londres Prize, the Étoile de la Scam, and the Grand Prix Enjeux Méditerranéens at PriMed. Libya, Anatomy of a Crime also won an award at the 22nd edition of PriMed.
