The CMCA (Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication) has officially closed the call for applications for the 29th edition of PriMed – the Mediterranean in Images Festival. For this new edition, 548 films were submitted from 50 countries. These figures confirm, once again, the strong interest of audiovisual professionals in Mediterranean issues. Whether it’s auteur documentaries, reports, investigative pieces, or intimate stories: the diversity of formats and perspectives testifies to the richness of the creations on offer.
The official selection of competing works is currently underway and will be unveiled at the press conference announcing the highlights of this 29th edition. PriMed has established itself as a leading space for Mediterranean audiovisual stories, bringing together each year productions from around the world and produced by committed filmmakers.
Statistics for submitted films
Statistics for submitted films by nationality are based on the count of each nationality listed on the submission form, including when multiple nationalities are listed for the same film (for example, “France, Belgium” counts as one entry for France and one for Belgium). (only in French language)
