On the French-Italian border, a tunnel boring machine pierces the mountainside, drying up streams and fountains in its wake. Amid the snow-capped peaks and valleys, the anger of the villages resonates.
Clara NICOLAS and Léo GATINOT joined the Sound and Image departments of La Fémis in 2020, respectively. After collaborating on several fiction and documentaries, they produced Transalpin together in 2024 as their final project.
