In 2014, thousands of Yazidi women were kidnapped by Daesh and reduced to sex slaves. Upon their release, they are forced, by their community, to abandon the babies they had under duress because they were considered bastards. The film follows Ana. After four years of separation, she crosses Kurdistan in secret to see her daughter Marya again.
