The PriMed – International Documentary and Mediterranean Reportage Prize is open to all authors, directors, producers and broadcasters who, through their programs or their works, contribute to a better knowledge of the countries of the Mediterranean basin in the broad sense, of the coasts of Atlantic to the Black Sea. The audiovisual works presented deal with subjects relating to issues, culture, heritage, history, societies and the lives of women and men in Mediterranean countries. They must not have any advertising or propaganda character.
Each work can only compete in one category, this choice must be clearly expressed in the registration form.
You must complete the form in its entirety with all the requested elements (in priority in French, or in English):
➔ A film summary in ten lines maximum
➔ A biography of the director in ten lines maximum
➔ A link to watch the film (attach the password if necessary), French version or subtitled in French (in priority), in English or in Italian

Event organization
The competition takes place in three stages: – January 2023: call for applications – Deadline for registration and submission of films: April 15, 2023 – May / June 2023: selection of films nominated for the final phase, either by an international Selection Committee in person, or by the CMCA team if the pandemic continues -November / December 2023, final phase of PriMed: work of the International Jury which awards the prizes, work of the Jury of Young Mediterranean People, screenings for the public, meetings, award ceremony
Conditions relating to the presented films
The films presented: – must have been produced after June 1, 2021; – under no circumstances may they have already competed in the PriMed; – if it is a documentary in several episodes, only one can compete; – if a program was produced as a co-production, it must be presented by a single co-producer; the latter must obtain the prior agreement of its partners. The names of all co-producers must appear on the registration form.
