In 2018, the director’s grandfather was arrested for child abuse and attempted kidnapping. He was sentenced to twelve years in prison, but remains out of jail. Daniel Torenero confronts his grandfather’s perspective and questions his family: how does one grow up with a father figure like his? What kind of father do they become? What do they pass on to their own children? And the most painful question: did any of their grandchildren suffer from their predatory grandfather?
Daniel TORNERO graduated in 2012 with a degree in film directing from the Centro de Estudios Ciudad de la Luz (Spain). He then worked for ten years as an assistant director on various projects. During this period, he was selected by the SGAE (General Society of Authors and Publishers) for its script development workshop.
