Carmen TORTOSA is a director, screenwriter and doctor. She decided to devote herself to short social documentary films after co-directing WOMAN LIKE TREE as part of a film workshop organized by Pedro Costa. This film received the award for Best Documentary Short Film at the 2021 Portuguese Academy Sophia Awards.
