A master and his pupil. As in a mirror, Manolo, ex-matador, sees himself in Mario, a young bullfighter. The long training sessions introduce us to the controversial world of bullfighting through a particular look, far from the classic image of the bullfighter dressed in gold and surrounded by pomp.
Sebastiano Luca INSINGA is a member of the film production company Jump Cut founded in Trento in 2011. Until 2018 his was author and director. He started producing with La Buona Novella (The Good News) selected in the Short Mediterranean category at PriMed in 2019. The same year, he was selected by the Eurodoc program for Sconosciuti Puri (Pure Unknown) directed by Valentina Cicogna and Mattia Colombo. Besides this film, he produced Il mondo è troppo per me (The world is too much for me) directed by Vania Cauzillo; Adam Ondra: Pushing the Limits directed by Petr Zaruba and Jan Simanek; Android Phil: The Afterlife of Philip K. Dick directed by Edoardo Vojvoda, and L’Inganno, of which he is also the director.
