“Letter to Theo” is about the return of filmmaker Théo Angelopoulos to his native Greece – a country battered by endless economic crises, overwhelmed by a constant influx of migrants and yet committed to preserve its dignity despite all the odds.
Elodie LÉLU was born in Brittany in 1982. Having studied Art History, she enrolled at INSAS, the state-run Belgian film school. She is fortunate to have known Greek director Théo Angelopoulos very well, since he ran her film course. She works in both documentary (she has directed a series about artists) and drama.
