This film is about Emeer – aka B-boy Zulu Rema – a Tunisian teenager whose legs were amputated when he was two. His passion for art and dance led him to become national breakdance champion and a role model for young people around the world.
Gaia VIANELLO is a producer/director. Having studied at Sciences-Po Paris she lived for several years in North Africa and the Middle East, working as a project manager, expert in international migration for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other international NGO’s. She has produced and directed the following documentaries: “Aicha è tornata” (2011), “This is not paradise” (2014) and “Les amoureux des bancs publics” (chosen for the 2018 PriMed) with the production company Sunset. Currently she is collaborating with the Università Ca’Foscari in Venice and with several production companies in the audiovisual sector.
