The preselection of PriMed 2015 organized in Casablanca

The preselection jury of PriMed 2015 will get together from 8 to 12 June in Casablanca.

Le The PriMed – International Festival of Mediterranean documentary Film and Reportage is open to all directors, producers and distributors who, through their programmes or films, contribute to a better understanding of the countries of the Mediterranean basin in its widest sense, from the Atlantic coasts to the Black Sea. The audiovisual works presented should be about the culture, heritage, history, societies and life of the men and women living in Mediterranean countries. They must not contain any form of advertising or propaganda. Each work can only be entered for one category, and the choice must be clearly indicated in the applic ation form.

Les œuvres audiovisuelles présentées traitent de su jets relatifs à la culture, au patrimoine, à l’histoire, aux sociétés et à la vie des hommes et des femmes des pays méditerranéens.

Elles ne doivent revêtir aucun caractère publicitaire ou de propagande.

Chaque œuvre ne pourra concourir que dans une seule catégorie, ce choix devra être clairement exprimé dans la fiche d’inscription.

Registration for the PriMed is free.

The presented works:
– must have been produced after January 1st, 2013 ;
– must not have already been submitted to a previous edition of PriMed;
– in the case of a documentary series or a film with more than one episode, only one episode can be submitted;
– in the case of a co-production, the programme may only be entered into the competition by one of the producers, with prior agreement from the other partners. The name of all the co-producers must be included in the application form.

THE AWARDS CEREMONY

On friday, December 12 in the late afternoon, Yasmina Khadra, guest star of PriMed , opened the awards ceremony. The directors of the films in competition have discovered the winners of this 18th edition. Presentation of differents awards will be made by the representatives of France Télévisions, the National Audiovisual Institute ( INA ), Rai, Marseille Provence Métropole, Orange, and other partners of the event .

The ceremony have been presented by Sylvie Depierre, France 3 journalist and animated by Keram. instrumental group for traditional music.

For every edition of PriMed, a great conference is organized on a topic related to audiovisual in Mediterranean. The theme is chosen in according whit news. From all Mediterranean countries, journalists, directors, producers, broadcasters and representatives of institutions have the opportunity to discuss, meet and interact with the public.

LE “PRIMEDINFO”

Le PRIMED INFO is the TV news of the festival, is produced and organized by CMCA webTV and IEJ school of Marseille.

All PriMed editions have been broadcasted by France 3 ProvenceAlpes website.
